Outboard Engine Covers UK Outboard Engine Covers UK

Outboard Covers to suit the range of Evinrude Outboards

We have made outboard covers to suit motors going back to 1970's from 2hp - 300hp, but if we don't have it we will let you know when ordering......if your outboard is within 10 years old we have done it 99.9% sure!

As you are probably aware Outboard Covers UK make covers that are designed to suit a particular motor shape and size. So a 90hp Mercury will not fit a 90hp Evinrude as an example.

When you buy a cover from OCA UK we have already made the pattern for that particular motor shape and size. All we need from you the customer is the engine model number of the motor. Click here for leg measurement & ID plate details if you unsure of your motor year and leg length.

What is the difference between a Splash Cover and a Full Cover and a Combo?

The Splash Cover is the small cover located on the cowling only that you can leave on the motor when it is on the water operating or when being towed or stored. It's designed to primarily protect the cowling from damage such as fishing lures, sinkers, burley, bait sticking to the cowling and general wear and tear!

The Full Cover is designed to be used when either storing or towing at high speeds. This cover protects the motor from stone damage when towing and scratches etc when being stored. Propellers today are worth a small fortune, can you afford not to have yours covered up out of the sight? Another use we hear of commonly is protection against insects getting into the exhaust port and water intakes building nests and of course blocking of these major ports, which can be a major problem!

The Combo Cover is just our way of saying both of the above covers and is a cheaper way to buy them rather than buying them individually.

There are many choices you can make when selecting colour's, but as an example if you are looking at getting your cover very dusty we would recommend the burgundy with a darker colour.

Another example is those with Evinrude outboards normally go for the light grey with a black stripe to match the original motor colour. However, a charcoal main colour with a blue stripe looks OK as well.

But the choice is ultimately yours, you may wish to match up your outboard cover with the striping on the boat, seat or carpet colour's?
